Ontario Works is administered by the Cornwall SDG Human Services Department. We provide income and employment assistance for people in temporary financial need. Eligibility will depend on your circumstances. The amount depends on your family size, accommodation costs, your income and assets and your willingness to participate in approved activities.

- Basic education: basic adult upgrading
- High school upgrading
- English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
- Literacy and basic skills
- Job skills training: development of skills for specific jobs
- On-the-job training
- Supports to self-employment: referrals to self-employment programs
